I Need 10 Year Anniversary Gift Ideas for Husband Who Is a Beginner Artist. Any Ideas?

My Husband is an amateur painter and just started practicing more on drawing. I wanted to get him an anniversary present that he would like and would be a cool gift, but I have no clue in this arena of what might be good to get him started. Any ideas?

You can give him some drawing lessons where he could improve his skills and technique or get him some art supplies he might need.

Arrange an exhibition of his paintings - You can rent a gallery or use a place you can set the exhibition in without him knowing about it, hang his paintings on the walls and invite your friends and family. Surprise him with the exhibition and throw a surprise anniversary party too.

Does he have a place he can quietly draw? You can turn one of the rooms (or the garage or the attic) in to his studio. Arrange for a friend to take him out for the day and fix him a nice studio with all the equipment he needs.

How about going for the same honeymoon vacation you went when you got married? Visit the same places and re-leave the romantic moments.

Or plan a weekend that follows your love story. Visit the place where you first met, have a date on the place where you had your first date, visit your first house, where your husband proposed to you (or was it you who proposed :0) ), where you "made" your first child….

You can renew your vows. Have a ceremony; reread your vows, or better – write new ones. Invite your family and close friends. Ask your kids to be the bridesmaid and the groomsman. After all – 10 year anniversary is a big thing…

Some of the best gifts I got were not about the money and you have plenty of time to make your husband a great anniversary gift.

Here are some great, yet almost free 10 year anniversary gift ideas for your husband:

You can make him a photo album that tells the story of your relationship. Go through your photo collection and pick photos from the time you met him, dated him, got engaged, married and started a family. If you don't have a photo from – let's say – your first date – you can put a photo of the place or just write a little about it. Leave lots of empty pages at the back of the album so you could add photos of other major events or anniversaries from the many happy, loving years that are ahead of you.

Another great variation is a notebook or scrapbook of all the SMS, emails, love letters, little love notes, chats you had from the day you met until today (if you saved them of course). Arrange them in chronological order and put them in the notebook. Add your comments on the side.

I think that even the toughest man can't stay indifferent to these 2 abovementioned 10 year anniversary gift ideas.

If you two have some dream vacation or a new car that you're both dreaming about you can make him a dream frame. Find a frame that has a little depth (an inch or 2). Make a little hole at the top that is wide enough for coins or bills. Find a good picture of your dream vacation destination or car. Do you live in a house with a back yard?

If you do you can get 10 little fruit trees (plants) and plant them on your anniversary – they will be a symbol of your everlasting – growing love and maybe in 2-3 anniversaries you can eat fruits that grew on them…

You can make him a personalized duvet cover with iron on heat transfer paper. Choose photos of you and your husband (and your kids if you want). You can arrange the photos in chronological order. Print them on iron on heat transfer paper. Use pins to secure the printed photos on the duvet cover and iron them according to the manufacturer's instructions. You can use many photos and cover all the duvet cover, use the photos and write something with them, use several big photos…Whatever you feel like.

Please send me a photo of the duvet and your husband's face when he'll open the gift…
